Should you find yourself dissatisfied with any purchase, our comprehensive return policy is in place to facilitate a smooth resolution.

Return Policy Guidelines

Initiating a Return

  • Contact Us: Before you return any product, please reach out to our customer service team at sales@greensmarthomes.ie. We will provide you with tailored return instructions and help expedite the process.
  • Condition of Goods: To qualify for a return, all items must be in their original, complete state, unused, and undamaged. Products must be returned in their original packaging without any signs of wear or use.

Preparing and Shipping Your Return

  • Packaging: Ensure the items are well-packed in their original condition to prevent any damage during transit.
  • Shipping: Return the items using a traceable shipping service. Please note that, unless the product is defective, you will be responsible for bearing the cost of return shipping.

Return Shipping Costs

  • General Returns: You are responsible for the return shipping costs unless the product is defective.
  • Defective Products: If you receive a defective product, please inform us immediately. We will cover all costs related to the return of faulty items and ensure you receive a replacement or a full refund.

Restocking Fees

  • General Restocking Fee: A restocking fee of 20% applies to all returned stock items, along with an administrative fee of €50 + VAT.
  • Specific Brands:
    • Quick Step Flooring: A 25% restocking fee plus €50 + VAT.
    • Kahrs/Boen Flooring: A 20% restocking fee plus €200 for administrative and return handling.

Refund Processing

  • Timing: We process refunds within 14 days of receiving the returned items, crediting the original method of payment.

Additional Terms

  • Order Cancellation: Any cancelled orders will incur a 2.5% handling charge.
  • Failed Delivery: A charge of €75.00 will apply if a delivery fails due to your absence, refusal of goods, or order changes/cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled delivery.
  • Non-Returnable Items: Accessories for Quick Step Flooring are not eligible for return.
